At Body in Tune, LLC, you will receive one-on-one care by a Master of Science Physical therapist, Certified Manual Physical Therapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher, osteoporosis exercise specialist, Jeanette Burney, PT, MSPT, RYT
This is not your traditional physical therapy practice…
Jeanette’s unique approach includes:
90 min first visit and 55 in follow-ups sessions providing time to listen to your concerns, to talk about what is going on, where you want to go, what is getting in the way, and to make a clear plan to get you there.
We will move through a hands on assessment as well as functional movements specific to your concerns so that, together, we can create a plan of action that is specifically tailored to help you transform and feel confident, strong, and agile to you can feel like yourself again.
You will receive support, accountability and guidance so that you can feel comfortable managing symptoms. You will be encouraged to perform a movement and/or breath practice between your appointments.

No, Body in Tune, LLC is not an enrolled provider with any insurance company including Medicare, Medicare Advantage or private/commercial insurance plans.

each session is 60 min of 1:1 time with Jeanette
from the Osteoporosis Fitness Check assessment
to guidance on ways to avoid fractures during daily activities

to individualized resistance training for osteoporosis
to individualized guidance, support, and accountability

Payment is expected at the time of service
Each session is fee for service which means you pay at the time of service. This allows care at Body in Tune, LLC to be directed by you and not dictated by a third-party. Accepted payment methods include: credit/debit card, Health Savings Accounts or Flexible Spending Accounts.
Does Medicare Cover your Services?
No, Body in Tune, LLC is not enrolled as a Medicare provider, so we are unable to provide you with a superbill. If you consent to working with me, you are agreeing not to submit a claim to Medicare.

Pricing starts at $250 for a complete evaluation.
1:1 follow-up sessions are $195 per session.Options are available to purchase bundled programs ranging from $760-$2160 based on your specific needs and the length of time you are looking to invest in your well-being.

Absolutely! Maine is a direct access state which means you can see any provider of your choosing for physical therapy. As an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies, I am unable to submit claims to your insurance for you.

Nope! In Maine, patients are not required to have a prescription from a doctor to receive physical therapy services.
However, after 30 days of treatment if there is no change, you are required to see your physician.
If you continue care beyond 4 months, you will be asked to obtain a prescription to have on file with Body in Tune per the Maine Physical Therapy Practice Act.

The office is at 124 Maine St, Suite 104, Brunswick, ME. We are handicap accessible on the first floor. There is parking in front of the building and on side streets, Cumberland St. and Town Hall Place. Additionally, there is public parking one block down Cumberland St.

Yes. We love telehealth appointments. Save time, no traffic, no parking.
For telehealth, you will be issued guidelines for setting up your space to allow for optimal visibility and feedback from your therapist.
We offer appointments both telehealth and in-person.

No,! Many of the concerns we treat are seen in people who have never been diagnosed with osteoporosis.
Some just want to get started with a movement plan to increase their activity, build strength, balance, and agility.
Some are looking for assistance from a skilled manual physical therapist.
Some are looking for ongoing guidance once finishing traditional physical therapy to reach 100%.

Yes! We will be sending you an email with a link to register and complete intake forms online. If you are unable to complete these ahead of time, we will take a few minutes to complete them during your scheduled time. We will need these to be completed before we start your assessment

Comfortable workout attire. We'll be moving a lot, so whatever you're comfortable moving in is perfect.
Myofascial release clients please bring or wear a tank top and shorts so that we can access the skin for best results.
